FTC 11329 - I.C.E. Robotics
We are FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 11329 - I.C.E. Robotics. The team was founded in the fall of 2016 by Ben Cerveny and Cindy Kvale and has competed in 8 FTC seasons. The team's main purpose is as a developmental team for younger or less experienced team members, grades 8-12, giving them the opportunity to design, build, and compete with a smaller robot. There are typically 4-10 student members of the team. There are numerous mentors, including working and retired engineers, FIRST alumni, parents, other community members, and more experienced students from The Quadrangles. Currently, the main mentors are Ben Cerveny, Cindy Kvale, Pam Bessler, and Emerson Bessler.
Typical FTC Season
September-November: Build Season (design and build a new robot to play that season's game)
December-March: Competition Season (scrimmages, Qualification Tournaments, State)
April: Worlds
June-July: Off-Season Events
